Overview
Restaurace U Zlatého Lva provides a unique opportunity to dine within the walls of a genuine 1408 medieval inn located on Ovocný Trh. The restaurant was brought back to life in 1990 by the Sichrovský family, who worked to restore the atmospheric gothic spaces found deep in the building's underground. Today, it serves as a family-run establishment offering both traditional Czech dishes and international cuisine, allowing guests to choose between indoor seating, a lounge, or a charming garden restaurant. The history of the house is woven into the experience, as it has been a site for food and beer service for centuries, famously named for the Golden Lion emblem added by owners in 1486.
