Originally a 19th-century stable, the site underwent a sensitive architectural reconstruction in 2003 by Jiří Gulbis, successfully preserving its industrial bones while creating a functional venue for the arts. Today, it serves as a laboratory for new ideas, presenting roughly ten exhibitions annually that feature both rising talents and established figures. Beyond standard exhibits, the space is known for hosting artist discussions, guided tours, and film screenings, often acting as a community participant in major local events like the Prague Quadrennial and the Fotograf Festival.
