The Limnigraf na Výtoni is an elegant Art Nouveau structure that serves as a historic river-level monitoring station. Constructed around 1907 on the Vltava embankment near the Vyšehrad railway bridge, it is designed as a small, romantic gazebo that blends technical function with aesthetic form. The building features a square footprint, a covered colonnade, and a copper dome topped with a distinctive wind-directional vane shaped like a dog head. Historically, the facility acted as a water-level and meteorological station, housing specialized equipment like barographs and thermometers; today, it remains a recognized architectural monument that highlights the intersection of engineering and public urban design in early 20th-century Prague.
