Overview
Letensky Park is an expansive, historic green space sitting high above the Vltava River, providing some of the most recognizable vantage points in Prague. Visitors come here primarily to enjoy a calm atmosphere away from the dense city center, wandering along long, tree-lined avenues or resting on grassy hillsides. The park is marked by the giant, functioning Metronome that stands on the site of a former massive memorial, a spot that now offers a wide-open platform for views. Beyond its natural appeal of mature trees, including remarkable sycamores and a beech alley, the park hosts unique structures such as the ornate Hanavský Pavilion, which serves as a restaurant with an incredible view, and a pavilion salvaged from the 1958 Brussels Expo. Whether you are looking for a place to jog, enjoy a picnic, or photograph the bridges of Prague, the park provides ample space and character to support a quiet afternoon outdoors.
