The Great South Tower stands as a nearly 100-meter-tall monument within the Prague Castle complex, offering visitors one of the most prominent vantage points in the city. Designed initially by Peter Parler in the 14th century, the structure was finalized during the 19th-century Neo-Gothic reconstruction, blending centuries of artistry. To reach the top, guests must climb over 280 steps, a physical journey that is rewarded with wide-reaching views of Prague. Along the way, visitors can view the historic 1549 bell, Zikmund, which remains the largest in the Czech Republic. Access is managed through the entrance near the Golden Gate on Courtyard III, and tickets are conveniently available at the Prague Castle Information Centre or at the tower base.
