Klub Čajovna

Klub Čajovna, tucked away in the basement of block 6 at the Strahov dormitory complex, serves as a grounded sanctuary for members of the CTU Student Union. Since its founding in 2004 by students passionate about the local tea scene, the club has functioned as a quiet, clean space where generations of students pass down knowledge of global tea and hookah culture. Beyond just a lounge, it acts as a hub for education, hosting workshops on precise tea preparation, specialized tobacco tastings, and travel evenings where guests recount stories from abroad. The atmosphere is defined by its focus on peace of mind and community sharing, whether through the slow ritual of a well-prepared tea or the social backdrop of a hookah session. The club also maintains a deep connection to the wider student community, including its organization of the annual Dýmky na Kopci festival, which brings together manufacturers and enthusiasts on the Strahov campus.
