Divadlo Ungelt

Divadlo Ungelt is an intimate, private theater stage located within the 11th-century Romanesque cellar foundations of the Týnský dvůr, just steps away from Prague's Old Town Square. Established in 1995, it is renowned for its actor-driven dramaturgy, focusing on plays specifically selected for top-tier Czech acting talent. The main venue provides an incredibly personal experience, seating fewer than one hundred guests in an environment steeped in history. A notable feature is the theater club, where guests can view the structural Romanesque foundations and a unique collection of chairs donated by prominent cultural figures like Václav Havel and Marta Kubišová. Beyond the historic cellar, the theater also operates a recently renovated open-air Summer Stage in the scenic Nový Svět area near the Loreta, providing a distinct atmosphere during warmer months.
