Muzeum studené války

The Cold War Museum offers an intimate look into the history of Czechoslovak armed forces from 1945 to 1993, located within the secure underground space beneath the Jalta Hotel. This museum was established by members of the Czechoslovak Armed Forces Association to provide a factual, interactive account of life under communist rule. Visitors can walk through several themed rooms, such as the Border Guard room and the spying room, where military telephone exchanges were once used to monitor guests. You can also view original police uniforms, explore the telex T100, and operate vintage Morse code equipment. Because the facility uses authentic, smaller historical rooms, capacity is strictly limited, and reservations are required at least five hours in advance to secure your spot.
