ART&FOOD Had is an exceptionally private, family-run culinary destination located at Plaská 617/4, where the line between a fine-dining steakhouse and a professional art gallery disappears. The experience is intentionally slow-paced and highly personalized, requiring guests to ring the doorbell to gain access to a space adorned with over two hundred original works by leading Czech artists such as Michal Singer. There is no standard menu; instead, the Svaty family works directly with guests to guide them through an experience featuring the world's highest quality steakhouse meats, which are prepared over 30 to 40 minutes and served in traditional style on wooden boards, sliced thin at the table to share with seasonal vegetables. The beverage program is similarly bespoke, replacing a traditional wine list with a collaborative selection process where staff pull from a collection of two hundred premium wines and sixty spirits to perfectly complement each course. Reservations are essential, and guests should budget for a relaxed three-hour visit.
