Overview
Lichtenštejnský palác is a landmark building situated on the western side of Malostranské náměstí in the heart of Prague. This grand structure, which occupies the original site of five renaissance houses destroyed in the 1541 fire, has been transformed into a cornerstone of the local arts scene as the home of the Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts. For visitors, the palace offers access to the Bohuslav Martinů concert hall and a dedicated Gallery hall, which host a variety of student and professional classical music performances. Beyond its musical offerings, the building is architecturally significant, featuring 8,000 square meters of space that includes a garden, exhibition halls, and a summer stage. It serves as an excellent recommendation for those looking to experience the intersection of Czech musical education and historic baroque preservation.
