The Black Lock

The Black Lock offers an outdoor urban escape game that transforms the historical streets of Prague into a living mystery. Based on the 1930s discovery of a hidden box during the reconstruction of the National Museum, players take on the role of investigators working to decode the secrets left behind by Hugo Tapfer. This three-hour activity takes teams of two to five on a five-kilometer route through Malá Strana and other central areas. It is designed to be accessible, with a low difficulty rating that makes it suitable for groups of friends, couples, and families with members fifteen and older. Unlike static escape rooms, this game encourages movement through the city center, revealing hidden corners that standard tourist maps often overlook.
