Můstek Metro Station

Můstek Metro Station stands as a vital connector in the Prague transport network, functioning as the primary interchange between the A and B lines. Located deep beneath the lower end of Wenceslas Square, the station is distinguished by the unexpected presence of a preserved medieval bridge within its vestibule, which was unearthed during the facility's excavation. The station's structure is deep, with Line A located approximately 29 meters down and Line B reaching 40 meters, connected through an intricate system of corridors. Originally opened in sections between 1978 and 1985 and later renovated in 2015, the station serves as a functional and historical waypoint for those navigating the heart of the New Town.
